Esterháza Tomášikovo manor

Memorial room

By gradually reconstructing the building, the municipality is trying to bring life back to the Esterházy mansion. The memorial room is decorated based on a photograph from the early 20th century. The room is dedicated to the history of the municipality and the mansion. The room houses an exhibition that introduces visitors to the individual historical periods of the mansion and the Esterházy estate. The interior of the memorial room is completed with works of fine artists.

Room for public - cultural activities/Wedding hall

The room in the mansion serves as a place for organizing public and cultural events. It contains a preserved piano that once belonged to the Esterházy family. The room also displays a large dining table, which was also an original piece of furniture in the mansion.

Hunting salon

The hunting salon is part of a regular tour of the manor. It was decorated thematically, meaning that hunting trophies are displayed in the salon. In the period 1853-1906, the Esterházy manor in Tomášíkov was used primarily as a hunting lodge. The estate and its guests came to hunt partridges in late summer, and hares and pheasants in winter. The prey caught during the hunt was carried on the manor's sleighs, and in the evenings, the Tomášíkov gypsies played games for their entertainment.

Baroque salon

The Baroque salon is furnished with antique furniture. The room is dominated by an original Baroque mural, which enhances the charm of the room.
